About the role
Inspiring Minds Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced
Educator - Diploma Qualified
to join our team in Burpengary, QLD. This is a
part-time position
offering flexibility whilst maintaining the high-quality care and educational experiences our families expect. As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering developmentally appropriate programming and fostering positive relationships with children and families. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive and reach their developmental milestones.
What you'll be doing
Planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development across all developmental domains
Building meaningful relationships with children and families, supporting transitions and celebrating individual achievements
Supervising and maintaining the safety and wellbeing of children in your care at all times
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe and inclusive learning workplace
Communicating regularly with families about their child's progress, interests and developmental milestones
Supporting children's social and emotional development through positive guidance and role modelling
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of children's learning, development and attendance
Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Adhering to all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures set by Perfect Beginnings Childcare
What we're looking for
Current
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
or equivalent recognised qualification
Current
Working with Children Check
(WWC) clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Current
First Aid and CPR certification
relevant to children
Demonstrated experience working with children in an early childhood or care setting
Strong understanding of child development and ability to implement play-based learning approaches
Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Commitment to creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive workplace culture
Flexibility and adaptability to support evolving childcare needs
Knowledge of Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) standards and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is advantageous
