Peer Worker Suicide Prevention - Northern Beaches
This is a fixed term contract until June **** with part time and full time positions available. Located in the North Sydney area.
The Suicide Prevention Peer Worker leads lived-experience support for people accessing Universal Aftercare after suicide attempt or crisis. They will build trusting relationships, develop wellbeing and safety plans, and deliver individual and group supports - partnering with Integrated Wellbeing Hub teams and reporting to the Service Manager.

Skills & Experience
Holds Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work with a minimum of two years' experience working in a Peer Worker role or working towards
Has direct lived experience of suicidal crisis and/or suicide attempt as well as periods of healing and personal recovery
Has a commitment to safely and purposely share lived experience to engender hope and support others on their personal recovery journey
Has a thorough understanding of the importance of personal and professional boundaries, ethical behaviour, policies, and procedures
