About the Role
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across the
Liverpool, St George and Macarthur regions
.
This role involves providing person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and the community. Supports may include:
Community access and social participation
Personal care and daily living assistance
Domestic assistance
Transport to appointments and activities
Medication assistance (where appropriately trained)
Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
Accurate documentation and progress notes
We are looking for support workers who are committed to building long-term relationships with participants and can maintain
consistent, ongoing rosters
rather than accepting occasional one-off shifts.
About You
You are someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and professional
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is passionate about supporting people with disability
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is adaptable and committed to providing consistent support
Understands the importance of participant choice, dignity and independence
Essential Criteria
Minimum
1 year of experience
in disability support, mental health, aged care or a related support role
Current
NDIS Worker Screening Check
(or willingness to obtain)
Current
Working With Children Check
(or willingness to obtain)
Current
First Aid Certificate
Current Australian Driver Licence
Reliable vehicle with
comprehensive insurance
Knowledge of the
NSW Disability Standards
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends where required
Preferred
Current National Police Check
Experience supporting participants with complex needs, mental health or challenging behaviours
