Brisbane City Council - Graphics Designer
The BCC SignShop is looking for a diligent, enthusiastic, creative and detail-oriented graphic designer with capable design abilities. Able to compliment the sign production aspects of the Brisbane City Councils SignShop, and bring graphic design projects to completion with accuracy, efficiency, and branding consistently whilst meeting client deadlines.

Start Time: 6am
Finish Time: 2:06pm
5 day weeks, Mon - Fri
Location: Toowong
Key Responsibilities
Expertise utilising design software like Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDraw to craft visuals with a solid understanding of design principles.
Extensive experience operating and managing large format digital printers utilising various types of print media - adhesive vinyls, mesh, banner, papers, etc.
Capture and import files supplied in various formats and transform these to brand correct print ready files and digital assets that can then be processed and ripped to large format digital printers.
Collaborating with team members, including marketing teams, and other graphic designers to understand briefs,



develop drafts and proofs and make revisions based on client feedback ensuring that all signage consistently aligns with Councils and Government brand guidelines and effectively communicates the intended message.
What you will need to exceed
It is essential that you have the following or are willing to obtain.
Trade Requirements: Cert 3 in signs and graphics.
Valid C Class Drivers Licence
