CN - Rockhampton - Community Mental Health
Rockhampton Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join its Community Mental Health team in Rockhampton, Queensland. This contract position runs from now through to 23 August **** and offers a competitive salary of AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour. The role provides an opportunity to deliver mental health nursing care in a community setting, working with clients across a range of presentations and supporting their recovery and wellbeing in their own environments.
Deliver direct clinical care and support to clients in community mental health settings
Work as part of a dedicated mental health team in Rockhampton
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in community mental health nursing




Robust clinical assessment and care planning skills in mental health contexts
Ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
Sound knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and recovery principles
Excellent communication and documentation skills in line with clinical standards
Preferred Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Clinical Nurse classification (NRG 6) or equivalent
Post‐graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in mental health nursing
