The Role:
The Company is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our growing national recruitment team. As we approach our peak hiring period, we are looking for additional support to ensure we continue delivering timely, high‐quality recruitment outcomes across the business.
This position is office‐based, located at our Head Office in the Warwick Farm / Liverpool area.
As part of the Recruitment Department, the role will work closely with hiring managers nationwide to coordinate and support end‐to‐end recruitment activity for both our blue‐collar and white‐collar workforce. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing high‐volume recruitment needs, maintaining robust stakeholder relationships, and contributing to an efficient and professional recruitment experience for candidates and internal teams.
Hours: Fixed term Part Time / Casual (candidate pending)
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm – however we are flexible with hours.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Review assigned job requests and confirm with Operations/Linehaul department rostering, job specifications, interview preference and confirm that contact information is accurate;
Advertise job requests utilising external media platforms to attract & create a talent pool;
Shortlist candidates filtered through the Recruitment Inbox and assess suitability;
Professionally perform phone interviews, briefing candidates on company history, job request details,



employment status and contract details whilst collecting & recording valuable information about the candidate's availability, employment history and overall job fit;
Coordinate face to face interviews & pre‐employment medicals with Operations/Linehaul department (and where applicable third parties);
When applicable professionally facilitate discussions with unsuccessful candidates;
To be successful you will have:
Excellent organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records;
Ability to work with confidential information and maintain high levels of professionalism and integrity;
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal (essential);
Ability to multi‐task, prioritise projects and meet strict deadlines;
Strong customer service skills and exceptional telephone manner;
Previous experience in a recruitment role or similar desirable.
