We are seeking a commercially minded and highly organisedFamily Engagement Specialistto join our Childcare team.
As the first point of contact for families, you will play a critical role in driving enrolment growth, optimising occupancy outcomes and delivering an exceptional customer experience across our childcare network.
This role combines sales, stakeholder engagement, systems management and operational excellence to support families from initial enquiry through to successful commencement.
Working closely with centre teams and key stakeholders, you'll leverage data, insights and process improvements to maximise service utilisation while ensuring a seamless and family-centred enrolment journey.
You'll help us shape the future of children in our care by:
Managing and converting enrolment enquiries in a timely, professional and customer-focused manner
Owning the family enrolment pipeline from enquiry through to commencement,



ensuring a seamless experience at every stage
Partnering with centres to develop transition and enrolment strategies that support occupancy and utilisation targets
Preparing annual rolls and enrolment forecasts to support workforce and capacity planning
Conducting audits of family files, enrolment records and master rolls to ensure compliance and data integrity
Monitoring waitlists, demand trends and enrolment activity to maximise occupancy outcomes across services
Proactively nurturing prospective families and following up leads to improve enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rates
Analysing and reporting on utilisation, enrolment and conversion performance to support business decision-making
Collaborating with Nominated Supervisors and centre teams to coordinate enrolments, transitions and service growth opportunities
Identifying opportunities to streamline systems, improve processes and enhance the customer journey
Supporting enrolment promotion activities, community engagement initiatives and local growth strategies
Ensuring enrolment processes comply with immunisation requirements, court orders, funding guidelines and organisational policies

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:
Experience in a sales, customer success, enrolment, account management or service utilisation role
Demonstrated success managing customer pipelines and converting enquiries into positive outcomes
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with a genuine passion for helping families
Experience using data, reporting and insights to support decision-making and performance outcomes
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and a commitment to process accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with robust reporting and administrative capabilities
Experience working with CRM, enrolment or customer management systems
Knowledge of Kidsoft, Storypark and Child Care Now (highly regarded)
Experience in process improvement, operational coordination or service optimisation (highly regarded)
Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, including Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and related funding schemes (highly regarded)
Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card, or the ability to obtain one
