CLS Cranes is a locally owned crane hire business with depots in Mackay and Nebo. We're looking for an organised, safety-minded Fleet & Safety/Operations Coordinator to run fleet and compliance out of our Mackay depot.
You'll own everything from servicing schedules and Cranesafe inspections to worker licenses, tickets and inductions — the person who makes sure our people, cranes and transport are always where they need to be, compliant and ready to work.
What You'll Do
Coordinate fleet servicing, Cranesafe inspections and maintenance records
Manage all worker compliance — licenses, tickets, inductions and rigging registers
Handle fleet documentation: registrations, permits, insurances and COIs
Manage incident reports and lead quarterly site safety checks
Keep on top of dry hire records, pre-starts,



alcohol testing and fault reporting
Be the go-to for safety culture on the ground
What You'll Bring
Sharp organisational skills and a knack for juggling priorities
A proactive, get-it-done attitude and an eye for detail
Experience in fleet, compliance or safety coordination — crane hire, transport or heavy industry background a big plus
Comfort with compliance/dispatch systems (Visual Dispatch or similar highly regarded)
