We're looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Rockhampton office and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across Queensland. You'll work alongside experienced geotechnical and environmental professionals on a wide variety of urban development and infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Planning and managing geotechnical site investigations
Soil and rock logging, laboratory testing programs, and in-situ field testing
Conducting geotechnical analysis using tools like PLAXIS, Geostudio, Wallap, etc. with assistance from senior engineers
Preparing high-quality technical reports
Supporting construction phase services such as piling and earthworks supervision
Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
Expect a mix of field and office work,



with the chance to contribute across all project stages — from investigation to analysis and design.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering (or similar)
2-3 years' industry experience preferred
Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, laboratory and field testing
Experience with geotechnical software
Strong communication and reporting skills
