Perform electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with statutory and site requirements
Troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify equipment faults
Conduct planned and breakdown maintenance activities
Complete inspections, testing and component replacements
Identify and manage workplace hazards and risks
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting
Contribute to a positive team culture and strong safety performance
About the Employer
Redpath is commencing a new underground mining project at Ernest Henry Mine near Cloncurry, Queensland.
This exciting project presents an opportunity to join a highly experienced underground team from the outset, working on a major Australian mining operation known for its world class copper and gold production. With a strong project pipeline, a contemporary underground fleet, and a commitment to safety and development, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Underground Electricians seeking long term career growth.
About the Candidate
We're looking for motivated and safety focused Underground Electricians to support maintenance activities across our underground equipment fleet and help drive project success from day one., To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in underground development or production mining
Current Australian Electrical Licence
Strong fault finding and diagnostic capabilities
Current CPR and LVR certification (or ability to obtain)
Current manual driver's licence
Ability to pass a pre employment medical and police clearance
A proactive approach to safety and teamwork aligned with Redpath's values

14 days on / 14 days off roster
12-hour rotating day and night shifts
FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns to Ernest Henry Mine, QLD
