About the Role
We are seeking anexperienced Plant Operatorto join a high‐performing operations team based inSilverwater.
This is a hands‐on, site‐based role working withpumps, valves, and fluid transfer systemsin asafety‐critical industrial environment.
The position is ideal for operators who are mechanically minded and comfortable working withpressurised systems, bulk liquids, and structured procedures.
This is atemp‐to‐perm prospect, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position after approximately 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitorpump and fluid transfer systems
Open and close valves to controlflow and pressure of liquids
Troubleshoot basic mechanical and process issues (e.g. pump trips / flow interruptions)
Operatehigh reach forklift(approximately 40% of the role)
MoveIBCs, drums,



and bulk materialswithin a bonded warehouse
Perform routine operational checks and ensure systems are running efficiently
Follow allSOPs, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
Support daily operations in ahigh‐risk industrial environment
Skills and Experience
Proven experience inindustrial, manufacturing, or process environments
Exposure topumps, valves, fluid systems, or similar mechanical equipment
Mechanically minded with basic troubleshooting capability
High Reach Forklift Licence (essential)with regular hands‐on use
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow strict procedures
Experience working inregulated or high‐risk environments
Reliable, disciplined, and seeking along‐term opportunity
Compliance and Safety
Full PPE is provided and must be worn at all times
A police check will likely be required due to access to a bonded warehouse
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures is essential
