The role and you:
Be responsible for providing direct care, support and assistance to residents;
Encourage and promote the activities program for residents;
Assist residents to communicate to ensure that the rights, interests and needs of resident's are met;
Respond to resident's requests for personal care and other assistance;
Maintain resident records and information, utilising relevant systems and in line with specified policies and procedures;
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe homelike environment for the resident;
Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of residents.

What you need to do:
Have Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar qualification;
Update your resume;
Be eligible to work in Australia;
Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one;
Be up to date with your Flu vaccinations;
