Security Solutions Architect
Contract: 6 MonthsWork Type: Contract / FTC
We are seeking a highly capable Security Solutions Architect for a rapid-paced 6-month contract.
You'll define and govern IAM, encryption, threat modelling and secure integration patterns, partnering closely with engineering to embed security-by-design rather than retrofit it.
The Role:Take absolute ownership of the security architecture for a cloud-native platform build from the ground up.Define and actively govern Zero Trust principles across identity, network, workload, and administrative access.Embed security controls directly into the engineering lifecycle, working hand-in-glove with platform and application architects.Resolve and align complex, overlapping compliance requirements across the finance and telecommunications sectors.Navigate strict Australian regulatory, privacy, and compliance frameworks.




What We Are Looking For:Deep, practical expertise aligning cloud architectures with strict regulatory control frameworks (APRA CPS 234, ISO *****, Essential Eight, PSPF/ISM).
Proven capability to secure high-stakes cross-domain solutions, identity platforms, and API touchpoints.A track record of taking total ownership of a security workstream to deliver against fixed, non-negotiable deadlines.An agile, hands-on executor.
We need an architect who actively builds and drives security standards within engineering squads, rather than a passive compliance reviewer.
Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work only Australian Citizens/Permanent residents will be considered.
