The Program Manager will lead the design, accreditation readiness and planned implementation of NTA's proposed HLT***** Diploma of Nursing program, subject to regulatory approval.
The role will also support governance and quality oversight of NTA's current programs within scope.
This is a casual role (up to 2 days per week).
The role structure and responsibilities may change once NTA receives the required accreditation and regulatory approvals for the Diploma of Nursing program.
About the Role
The Program Manager will lead the design, accreditation readiness and planned implementation of NTA's proposed HLT***** Diploma of Nursing program, subject to regulatory approval.
The role will also support governance and quality oversight of NTA's current programs within scope.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Manager will be responsible for:
Leading accreditation preparation for NTA's proposed Diploma of Nursing program.
Developing and coordinating the Diploma of Nursing accreditation application and evidence response process.
Developing, maintaining and reviewing the Diploma of Nursing Program Document.
Managing the day-to-day accreditation project, including coordination of committees, working groups, writers, trainers, assessors and reviewers.
Managing writers, reviewers and subject matter experts, whether employed or contracted.
Establishing and maintaining industry and clinical placement partnerships required to support the proposed Diploma of Nursing program.
Establishing and managing relevant committees, working groups and program governance structures.
Supporting the organisational and program governance framework required for secure and compliant future delivery.
Supporting the CEO with ASQA, CRICOS and course governance matters relating to NTA's current scope of registration, including Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma-level programs.
Providing other program, accreditation and governance support as required by the CEO or Board of Directors.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMBA.
Significant nursing, industry and/or clinical education experience.
Postgraduate qualification in nursing or a relevant health-related field.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent current VET training and assessment credentials.
Significant experience designing, developing or delivering nursing and/or healthcare-related programs.
Experience supporting or leading accreditation processes with regulators or accreditation bodies, preferably including ANMAC.
Staff, stakeholder, contractor and/or project management experience.
Demonstrated experience in clinical program delivery governance, assessment quality, clinical placement and continuous improvement.
