About the role
As an Urban Planner at First National Swans Residential, you will play a key role in shaping the future of urban development.
This full-time position will allow you to contribute your expertise in urban design and planning to drive the strategic initiatives of our growing residential development business.
What you'll be doing
Developing comprehensive urban plans and designs to guide the sustainable growth and revitalization of local communities
Collaborating with stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, and other key partners, to gather insights and align on strategic priorities
Conducting site analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform planning decisions
Preparing detailed planning proposals, reports, and presentations to support the approval and implementation of development projects
Drafting and designing of plans.
Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and innovation
Providing expert advice and guidance to internal teams on urban planning matters
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in urban planning, architecture, or a related field
2+ years' experience working as an urban planner, with a strong track record of delivering successful development projects
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in using design software, GIS, and other relevant planning tools
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
Thorough understanding of urban planning regulations, policies, and approval processes
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional initiatives
