About You
As a Leader of Wellbeing (2pt), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.
You'll bring:
leadership in contributing to a Christ-centered and inclusive educational environment for students
capacity to lead pastoral care programs to support student flourishing and excellence in all aspects of their school life
proven capacity and ability to lead, advocate and support ayear group through accompaniment, formation, data-informed tracking and intervention
the ability to forge robust partnerships with families and support agencies and to work collaboratively as part of our College's Wellbeing team
proven capacity to foster a sense of belonging across the school community
expertise as a classroom teacher: leading quality programming, pedagogy, and assessments to drive student progress (please indicate teaching areas clearly in your cover letter)
excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
