Experienced Diesel Mechanic
Due to continued growth, Jamieson Sales & Service is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy workshop team.
This is a permanent full time opportunity working primarily on new trucks and trailers, with the chance to be part of a well established and supportive business.
This role is Monday to Friday, with rostered Saturday mornings and overtime opportunities available.
About the Role
As part of our workshop team, you will:
Service, diagnose and repair new trucks and trailers
Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
Complete minor and major mechanical repairs to a high standard
Perform quality inspections on completed vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before delivery
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Work collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Trade qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers
Experience with BES, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems
A commitment to producing high quality work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude, solid work ethic and reliable attendance
A current driver's licence (HR/HC licence advantageous but not essential)
