Who This Role Would Suit
This role would suit someone with previous hands-on experience in laboring, construction, landscaping, farming, mechanical work or a similar practical environment.
Previous heavy industrial site experience is not required.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, honest, physically capable and who can work well with others.
You should be comfortable performing repetitive production tasks, following established procedures and contributing as part of a small team.
This is an entry-level, hands-on production role rather than a technical or trade position.
It offers valuable experience within a heavy industrial site environment, along with the opportunity for stable, long-term employment.
Requirements
Obtain anExplosives Security Clearance, which involves:
Providing anoriginal Birth Certificate(not an extract/copy) orPassport.
PresentingPhoto IDand aMedicareorBank card.
Security background checks.
Be willing to undergo:
Police and security background checks.
Drug and alcohol testing.
Demonstrate moderate to high physical fitness to meet the demands of manual labor tasks and production line operations.
Hold Australian citizenship / permanent residency to meet security clearance eligibility requirements.
Own transport
Preferred but not essential qualifications:
A validforklift ticket.
Experience withpower and hand tools.

Pay Rates
Starting rate:$35/hr.
Earning potential:Up to $40/hr.
(casual position).




Work hours:***** per week (penalty rates apply).
Engagement period
This is an ongoing role.
Work Schedule
Rostered four- or five-day working week
Shifts scheduled between Monday and Saturday
Shifts generally range from 8 to 12 hours
Some Sunday work when required
Some public holiday work when required

Your Role
As a Packaging Assembler, you will support the mining industry by producing high-quality export packaging while maintaining strict safety, quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Complete required safety checks, including Take 5s and JSAs
Participate in safety meetings and toolbox discussions
Conduct pre-start checks and set up tools and equipment
Use hand and power tools as part of the production process
Rotate through production tasks to support workflow and changing priorities
Ensure all work complies with dangerous goods and export requirements
Maintain high housekeeping standards to support a clean and safe workplace
Safely operate plant equipment and forklifts, where licensed
Maintain a strong eye for safety and identify potential hazards during production tasks.
Restock raw materials and transfer completed products to storage areas
Carry out other related duties as required
