The Role
We're looking for a hands-on R&D; Pilot Plant Operator to support our Product Development team by operating pilot plant equipment and assisting with trials that bring new products to life.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and batch raw materials, operate pilot plant equipment, and support product testing
Assist R&D; teams to understand how ingredients and processes impact product outcomes
Maintain, clean, and calibrate equipment in line with GMP and safety standards
Support factory trials, waste management, and general housekeeping
Assist with materials management including ordering, stock rotation, and SAP purchase orders
Follow WHS, GMP, and basic HACCP principles at all times
Contribute to safe work procedures (JSAs/SWPs) and training where required
The successful applicant will have:




Experience in food manufacturing or food R&D; (preferred)
Strong attention to detail with valuable numeracy and literacy skills
Hands‐on, reliable, and safety‐focused
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Positive, proactive, and willing to support across different tasks
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Understanding of WHS practices
