About the Role:
The Apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and knowledge for a career as a Mechanical Engineering tradesperson.
You will learn a variety of skills including the design, manufacture, installation, modification, testing, maintenance and service of mechanical equipment.
This is a full time fixed term apprenticeship program suited for school leavers.You will undertake formal studies at TAFE whilst being guided by professionals starting in January ****

Qualifications and Experience:
Must be an Australian citizen and or permanent resident
Demonstrated dedication to learning and education
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in the trade
Has a positive attitude to working in a secure and productive manner
The Process:
As part of One Rail Australia's recruitment and selection process, short listed applicants will be required to:
Provide a recent national criminal history check
Provide a Current Provisional Licence (C Class)
Undertake a Category 2 Rail Medical
Reference checks
This position will be located at our Mackay Workshop.
