Job Description
As our Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes to our customers through quality servicing and repair work. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will contribute to team success and expand your skills and enjoy a variety of work, where no 2 days are the same!
Maintaining excellent relationships with customers by ensuring a high level of service and repair work carried out at all time
Completing diagnostics, repairs and service on heavy commercial machinery and trailers on leading brands such as Hino, Iveco and Scania.
Warranty diagnostic & repairs along with Safety Recalls to ensure limited downtime for our customers
Complete all documentation as required in conjunction with work assignments including accurate and detailed completion of timecards to ensure costs associated with the service/repair are allocated accordingly
Ability to work efficiently and productively while maintaining quality and safety standards
Follow any reasonable request to undertake other areas of work and/or training

About the Candidate
Trade Qualified Service Technician (Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Engineering - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic), with experience specific to trucks and trailers
Excellent electrical understanding including CAN BUS technology as well as fault finding using multimeter, oscilloscope, OEM diagnostic tooling, etc
Minimum of 2 years of truck mechanical experience
Sound fault finding and diagnostic skills with a willingness to learn technology
Ability and willingness to perform servicing and repair work on a variety of trucks and trailers
Ability to participate in the On-Call roster for 24/7 breakdown repairs to keep our customers on the road around the clock
Dedicated to continual learning with a genuine interest in delivering results to our customers
Australian work rights and valid driver licence is required
HR licence is desirable
