About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll lead a Group-wide payroll and employment harmonisation program ahead of a Workday HRIS, Payroll and Financials rollout.
Partnering closely with People & Culture, Group Payroll and Finance Leadership, you'll build governance frameworks, align payroll practices across multiple entities, and transition outcomes into business-as-usual operations.

Duties / Key Responsibilities
Lead the Group-wide payroll and employment administration harmonisation program, partnering with People & Culture to align activities with broader HR transformation initiatives
Design and embed a Group Payroll Governance Framework, including policies, controls, approval authorities and change management processes
Drive standardisation of payroll calendars, pay frequencies, leave structures and related processes across multiple employee cohorts
Translate employment policy and remuneration changes into payroll requirements, resolving issues between HR policy,



industrial obligations and payroll systems
Lead payroll testing, reconciliation and quality assurance, and manage the transition of harmonised payrolls to the business-as-usual Payroll Team
Skills and Experience
Significant experience leading payroll transformation or workforce harmonisation programs
Demonstrated project management and change leadership experience, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
Strong understanding of HR operations, remuneration frameworks and employment conditions
Experience working across Finance, Payroll and Human Resources functions
Desirable: experience with ADP Payline, Employment Hero, Xero or Workday
Desirable: experience harmonising payrolls following mergers, acquisitions or organisational restructures
