The Role
This is a hands‐on role, ideal for someone who is eager to learn, flexible with tasks, and ready to support a close‐knit team.
Based at Seven Hills, you will be responsible for safely processing, sorting, loading and unloading scrap metal and recycling materials while maintaining a strong focus on housekeeping, customer service and safe work practices.
Your day‐to‐day responsibilities will be varied and can include:
Manual processing and sorting of various scrap metals
Preparing materials for resale
Maintaining site cleanliness and safety
Providing friendly and professional customer service




Operating hand and power tools (e.g. drills, grinders)
Loading/unloading trucks using forklift or excavator
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be:
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Presentable, with a professional attitude
A team player with the ability to also work independently
Safety-conscious and proactive
Holding a current forklift licence (required)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Desirable (but not essential):
VOC for excavator operation
Truck licence
Welding or other trade experience
Previous experience in a waste or recycling environment
