We're looking for a hands‐on Duty Manager to join our leadership team at Logan City Tavern and drive performance across all areas of the venue.
Rosters work on a 4‐day week wherever we can make it work so that you have a work life balance for real.
This is dependent on your ability to deliver on your skill set and is performance based.
This is for someone who leads from the floor, Customer Service Excellence, builds culture, and runs a tight operation.
The venue will undertake a major renovation by years end and will see the beginning of something highly sought after in the area, join the team now and be a part of this great prospect.
The Role
As an Experienced Hotel or Pub Duty Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the venue, reporting directly to our Venue Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, developing and holding accountable a team across bar, floor, gaming and kitchen
Driving revenue growth and overall venue profitability
Managing wages, rosters and labour targets
Overseeing stock control, ordering and stocktakes
Managing gaming performance and compliance
Ensuring all liquor, gaming and WHS requirements are met
Maintaining high presentation and service standards




Working closely with the Venue Manager on strategy, performance and continuous improvement
You'll be given autonomy to run the venue in the Venue Managers Absence — but clear performance expectations come with it.
About You
Proven experience as a Duty Manager or strong Gaming Manager ready to step up
Strong understanding of pub operations including gaming, food and beverage
Confident managing KPIs, wages, COGS and GP
A natural leader who follows and sets standards and drives accountability
Calm under pressure and solutions‐focused
Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and QLD Approved Manager
You take pride in your venue, support your team, and understand that strong culture drives strong results.
