Emmetts Oakbank is seeking a polished, customer-focused Sales Consultant to represent our John Deere Small Ag and lifestyle machinery portfolio across a well-established territory.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who takes pride in delivering a premium customer experience, building trusted long-term relationships, and providing well-considered equipment solutions to local farmers, lifestyle property owners, and smaller-scale producers.

Our John Deere lifestyle and small acreage range, including compact tractors and mowers, supports a loyal customer base across lifestyle and local farming markets.
The Role
Manage and grow an established Small Ag territory with care, consistency and professionalism
Build trusted relationships with lifestyle, local farming and smaller-scale producer customers
Promote premium John Deere compact tractors, mowers and small ag equipment
Identify recent business opportunities through attentive follow-up and strong local market knowledge




Provide tailored machinery solutions through a clear understanding of each customer's needs
Work closely with Parts and Service teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience
This role requires strong relationship management skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
What We're Looking For
Proven sales or customer-facing experience, ideally within retail, Ag, automotive, machinery or a premium service setting
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with a broad customer base
A polished, consultative style with strong commercial awareness and territory management capability
A willingness to build strong product knowledge and present solutions with clarity and confidence
Self-motivation, accountability and pride in representing a trusted premium brand
A current driver's licence and the flexibility to support customers across the territory

Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Possess strong organisation skills and the ability to follow processes
A proven ability to achieve and exceed set targets

Current Australian drivers licence
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
Desired Previous experience as a Sales Professional (3+ years preferred)
Previous experience in selling agricultural equipment
Broad understanding of farm production methods
Experience in EQUIP and strong computer skills, including Microsoft office
