OUR ROLE
We are seeking full-time Service Manager position for the Tolga branch.
We are seeking a proactive, diligent and organised leader who is able to work autonomously and as part of the greater team to achieve our Vision, Making It Easy for our people, our customers and our suppliers.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide hands-on leadership, technical support, and mentoring to Service Technicians and Apprentices, both in the workshop and field.
Coordinate and optimise workflow, scheduling, repairs, servicing, invoicing, and WIP management to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service targets.
Collaborate with Service Advisors, Warranty Clerks, OEMs, technical specialists, and HR to ensure efficient operations, customer satisfaction, workforce development, and recruitment.
Ensure work is completed to OEM standards, within chargeable timeframes, and that completed repairs are inspected for quality assurance.
Manage customer complaints and machine repair resolutions, balancing customer, OEM, and business outcomes.
Promote the effective use of technology, continuous improvement initiatives, and process efficiencies to enhance workshop performance.
Set explicit team goals, conduct performance and probation reviews, and support training and professional development.
Monitor capital equipment requirements, workshop compliance, and adherence to local council, safety, and workplace standards.
About you:
Trade Qualified Service Technician, with experience specific to agricultural machinery




Minimum of 5 years' experience operating as a fully qualified Service Technician on agricultural machinery
Demonstrate knowledge of Ag and heavy machinery equipment
Experience working on John Deere machinery including tractors and harvesters
Australian work rights and valid driver licence is required
