About the Role
We are a boutique conveyancing practice seeking a proactive, organised licensed conveyancer to support the Principal part-time with pre-exchange work, post-exchange work and settlements.
Key Responsibilities
Providing legal advice to clients on NSW property contracts
Managing conveyancing files pre-exchange through to settlement
Handling and coordinating PEXA settlements (essential)
Ordering and managing outstanding requirements (e.g. searches, figures, adjustments)
Preparing emails, summary letters, purchaser declaration forms, first home buyer forms
Maintaining accurate file notes and progressing matters efficiently using a file checklist
Monitoring file progress and prioritising tasks effectively
About You
Minimum 5 years of conveyancing experience in NSW required (essential)
A current NSW conveyancer's licence
Confident using PEXA independently (essential)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Robust ability to prioritise and manage multiple files
Proactive mindset - you take initiative and stay on top of your files
Willingness to learn, take instruction, and refine your skills
Clear and professional communication skills
Willing to work in a physical office in Wollongong CBD
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
