We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join ourt clients maintenance team within a busy food manufacturing setting. This role provides support to fitters, electricians, and maintenance personnel by assisting with repairs, general maintenance tasks, equipment upkeep, and workshop support.

Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople with maintenance, repairs, installations, and breakdowns
Support basic mechanical tasks under supervision
Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work areas
Prepare tools, equipment, and parts for maintenance activities
Assist with stores, stock levels, and general labouring duties
Follow all WHS, food safety, and site hygiene requirements

About You
Trade Assistant experience or strong mechanical aptitude
Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or maintenance environments preferred
Valid driver's licence required
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and work as part of a team




Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling tasks
Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening and police check as part of the recruitment process
