Team members join a growing organization with strong international backing and a clear mission to support infrastructure and development projects across the region.Role Description The Import Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, responsible for managing end-to-end import operations for construction equipment and related materials.
The role includes coordinating shipment schedules, preparing and reviewing import documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and liaising with customs, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
The specialist will communicate regularly with Mandarin-speaking partners and vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate logistics arrangements.
Day-to-day tasks also involve maintaining accurate records in internal systems,



supporting import–export reporting, and collaborating with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and high service quality.Qualifications Strong foundation in import processes, including Import and Import Export activities, with practical experience in handling documentation and compliance.Knowledge of international business practices, covering International Trade and Export operations, and familiarity with customs and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to internal and external stakeholders and maintain qualified relationships.Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.Proficiency in standard office software and experience working with ERP or logistics management systems.Diploma or bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.Experience in construction equipment, industrial products, or related sectors is an advantage.
