This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Aquatic Duty Manager to join and lead our aquatics team!
The Role
TheAquatic Duty Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.
This role will include Lifeguarding on pool deck during the shift.
You are reliable and understand the required hours are weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods betweenNovember **** - March ****.
Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
Excellent verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
Ability to work weekends
Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Current Pool Operations Certificate
Pool Lifeguard qualifications along with CPR & First aid are essential for this role.
Pool Plant Operations Qualifications are not essential but highly regarded.
We are willing to assist the successful applicant with obtaining these qualifications.
We are looking for an Aquatic Duty Manager that is outgoing and dedicated to doing a fantastic job.
You must be great at customer service and able to work independently.
