About the Prospect:
You will be responsible for ensuring the business meets all taxation and statutory obligations, while also delivering robust budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Acting as a trusted adviser to the Finance Director and senior leadership team, you will combine your deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to optimise business performance, strengthen internal controls, manage risk, and ensure effective corporate governance.
You will be responsible for the development and mentorship of the Finance team under your leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial FP&A; & Business Partnering:
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Develop robust financial models to evaluate pricing, capital expenditure, and working capital, partnering with operational leaders to unlock profitability.
Taxation & Global Compliance:
Manage full-scope Australian tax compliance, including corporate income tax, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, and the International Dealings Schedule (IDS).




Maintain transfer pricing documentation and coordinate quarterly US tax reporting.
Financial Control & SOX Governance:
Direct month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
Take full ownership of internal risk frameworks, including regular Audit and SOX testing compliance, ensuring swift resolution of any control deficiencies.
Leadership & System Optimization:
Mentor, develop, and foster a culture of accountability within a high-performing finance team.
Proactively identify process bottlenecks to drive automation and standardisation, specifically leveraging and optimizing our Epicor ERP system.
Corporate Governance:
Manage ASIC lodgements and support the APAC Regional Controller with company secretarial, legal entity maintenance, and delegated authority compliance.
What We're Looking For:
A CA or CPA qualification with an Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
10+ years of comprehensive finance experience, including a minimum of 2+ years in a dedicated managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience within a multinational corporate environment, preferably within the manufacturing, industrial, or distribution sectors.
Comprehensive understanding of Australian tax legislation, ATO requirements,



and advanced financial modelling.
Exposure to Epicor ERP is highly regarded.
A collaborative, hands-on leadership style paired with strong analytical capabilities and the communication skills required to influence senior stakeholder decisions.
