About the Role
As a Participant Support Worker, you'll support people to achieve their goals while promoting choice, independence and dignity.
Responsibilities include:
Providing respectful personal care and supporting participants with daily living activities
Supporting independence and skill development
Assisting with community access and social participation
Encouraging participation in meaningful activities
Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive routines
Working collaboratively with participants, families and allied health professionals
Supporting participants with complex care needs where required

Experienced Disability Support Workers
Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) looking to transition into disability support or community-based personal care
New to the disability industry
Parents, carers and people with valuable life experience

Applicants with valid Australian work rights, including eligible work visa holders

Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (where required)
Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Worker Orientation Module
Current First Aid and CPR Certification
Valid Australian Driver Licence
Access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
Certificate III in Individual Support (or a related qualification), or willingness to obtain with support from our team
Willingness to Complete Required Training
Manual Handling / Safe Lifting
Medication Administration
Infection Prevention and Control
A commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice
Relevant lived experience and strong personal values are highly regarded.
Experience supporting people with disability, psychosocial disability, mental health or complex support needs is highly regarded, but not essential for the right person.
