An opportunity exists for an experienced Forklift Leading Hand to join our Warehouse Operations at our Regents Park site.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse personnel while ensuring the efficient movement of stock and the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
This is a hands-on role working in a busy environment that requires an eye for detail, accuracy, strong communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
As the Leading Hand, you will:
Lead, direct and support warehouse, personnel.
Train, coach and develop new and existing warehouse team members.
Ensure all warehouse operations, including receipting, stock control and dispatch, are performed efficiently.
Monitor production requirements to ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved.
Coordinate and participate in stocktakes and inventory control activities, investigating discrepancies as required.
Operate forklifts to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
Ensure all forklifts and warehouse equipment are maintained and operated correctly.
Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
Facilitate monthly warehouse team meetings and support team engagement initiatives.
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider business to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with Company Quality, HACCP, GMP, HR and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Complete other duties as directed by management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current and valid Forklift Licence.
Previous experience in a warehouse leadership, leading hand, supervisor or team leader role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
Experience conducting stocktakes and inventory reconciliations.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and delegate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Experience using warehouse management systems, ideally Optimus or similar software.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and team development.
A strong commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
