The Accounts and Treasury Officer works collaboratively with the Director, Accounts and Treasury section and operates in an workplace of centralised responsibility to ensure coverage of various positions during periods of when staff are on leave.
The role is complex and requires an understanding of all positions within the section, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor maintenance, debt management, Redress processing, the daily, fortnightly, monthly and annual functions relating to treasury functions and financial reconciliations.
The role includes the accurate, complete and timely completion of accounts tasks, troubleshooting and quality control activities. The role also includes, as required, performing and managing small projects that add to the business improvement of the section.

The key duties of the position include:
invoicing, receipting and debt management
master Data maintenance
processing of daily drawdowns in CBMS and payments in RBAnet
preparation and posting of daily treasury journals
liaise with external and internal stakeholders to answer queries, solve complex issues and elevate queries as necessary
preparation and posting of daily treasury journals
monitoring of relevant Section inboxes and actioning queries
work as a member of a team providing backup support to other officers and participating in branch priorities when required.
