About the role:
As an Assistant Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to the GM Finance and working closely with the wider operations team, you'll help maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to timely reporting. This role is well-suited to someone with solid attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable
Processing month end journals, including but not limited to prepaymentrelease, FA depreciation,



deferred hardware amortise
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
Commenting on month-end management reports
Verify recorded transactions and report and investigate irregularities
Liaise with supplier and internal team for invoice queries
Other ad-hoc projects as requires
What we are looking for:
Degree qualification in accounting and/or Finance
Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
IntermediateMicrosoft skills, particularly Excel
Intermediate payroll knowledge and experience
Intermediate knowledge of financial and management accounting theory and practice
Ability to analyse problems and propose solutions
Applicants must have permanent working rights in Australia.
