Smithfield (4 days) & Banksmeadow (1 day) | $100,000 Super Phone Laptop

Reporting directly to the National Safety Manager, you'll become part of a supportive team that genuinely values collaboration, continuous improvement and professional development.

About the Role
As the WHS Advisor, you'll work closely with leaders and employees to ensure a safe, compliant and proactive working workplace. You'll provide practical advice, coach stakeholders and help drive a positive safety culture across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and improving WHS management systems
Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
Conducting workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
Undertaking site-based risk management activities
Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across safety processes
Delivering safety training, inductions and toolbox talks
Managing training records and competency requirements
Supporting operational leaders with day-to-day WHS advice
Assisting with return-to-work and injury management initiatives where required
Promoting employee engagement and a proactive approach to workplace safety
About You
We're looking for someone who is approachable, proactive and enjoys building strong relationships with people at all levels of the business.
You'll bring:
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Currently enrolled in either qualification and actively completing your studies through TAFE or another recognised provider
Previous experience in a WHS Advisor or similar safety-focused role
Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to influence positive behavioural change
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Current driver's licence and the ability to travel between sites
