About the role
Ace Mechanical Solutions are currently looking for fitter/supervisors with experience on hydraulic excavator and have supervisory experience on the lifestyle roster within our shutdown teams in the Hunter Valley region. This role is a hybrid role with both on the tools and supervisor elements.
In this role, you will be required to, but are not limited to:
Follow mine site permits and processes
Complete Hydraulic Excavator maintenance including breakdowns and diagnostics
Complete full machine shutdowns and overhauls
Source technical information and read hydraulic and electrical schematics
Dedicated to maintaining protected work practices/commitment to safety
Qualifications
Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic or similar
Supervision Training and Experience
Working at Heights Certificate (desirable)
Order 45 Medical (desirable)
High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
Skills and Experience
Experience working on Hydraulic Excavators
Ability to supervise a work crew including alternate trades
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting unsupervised and as part of a team
Demonstrates a high attention to detail
Show creative and a high level of communication
