The Opportunity
As a
Registered Nurse
, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care that supports residents' physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs, enabling them to maintain their wellbeing and independence for as long as possible.
Working closely with the Clinical Care Manager, care staff and the broader multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, care coordination and the implementation of effective clinical governance systems that support positive resident outcomes.

About Aeralife Botany
At Aeralife Botany, you'll be part of a stately home that combines vibrant open spaces with timeless elegance. Key Responsibilities
You will:
Coordinate the completion of clinical care tasks and associated clinical documentation
Monitor resident files, progress notes, observation charts and clinical records to ensure quality care delivery
Manage specialised nursing care requirements including wound care, diabetic care, catheter care, injections, medication patches and Schedule 8 medications
Collaborate with residents, families and external healthcare professionals including medical practitioners, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, mental health consultants and aged care assessment teams
Ensure compliance with Aeralife's Medication Management policies and procedures
Support infection prevention and control initiatives, including antimicrobial stewardship practices
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of clinical governance systems
Promote evidence-based nursing practice and continuous quality improvement
Foster a positive,



respectful and inclusive care environment that supports resident dignity, choice and independence
About You
You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who takes pride in making a genuine difference every day. You enjoy working in a team-focused environment and are committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care aligned with best practice standards.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
Current
AHPRA registration
as a Registered Nurse
Minimum
2 years' experience in Residential Aged Care
Strong knowledge of the aged care sector, including the Aged Care Act **** and associated principles
Experience supporting accreditation and assessment processes with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC)
Sound understanding of clinical governance, accountability and quality improvement frameworks
Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices and antimicrobial stewardship
Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills
Excellent computer literacy and experience using electronic care management systems
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
Current
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status (highly recommended)
