WELDER POSITION
The company is seeking a qualified and experienced
Welder
to join its trailer manufacturing and fabrication team.
Salary:
$81,120 per annum plus superannuation
Position is full-time
Based in a contemporary manufacturing environment, this role involves the fabrication, assembly and repair of a wide range of trailers including tradesman, enclosed, car carrier, hydraulic tipper, flat-top, plant and custom-built trailers.
Main Duties
Perform MIG, TIG and arc welding of steel trailer chassis, frames and components.
Fabricate, assemble and repair trailer bodies and structural steel components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and fabrication plans.
Cut, shape, fit and weld steel sections and plate to required standards.




Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications and safety requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
Trade Certificate III in Welding
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Sound knowledge of welding, fabrication and metalworking techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Experience
Minimum 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience as a Welder.
