The Role
We are looking for experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant for our Dalkeith Gardens Residential Aged Care Home in Traralgon, home to 114 residents.
Provide expert clinical leadership and support to ensure high-quality, resident-centred care
Lead the assessment, management, and review of residents with complex clinical needs
Support and mentor Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Workers in clinical best practice
Monitor clinical indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and drive quality initiatives across the home
Collaborate with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals, and external providers to achieve positive health outcomes
Assist with compliance, accreditation requirements, clinical governance activities, and incident management processes
About You
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrated experience in aged care, chronic disease management, dementia care, and complex clinical assessments
Strong knowledge of aged care standards, clinical governance, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, coaching, and support to multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyse clinical data, identify risks, and implement effective care and quality improvement strategies
Postgraduate qualifications in gerontology, clinical nursing, leadership, or a related field (desirable)
Experience supporting aged care accreditation and quality improvement programs (desirable)

Permanent full time for 76 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
