Female Disability Support Worker - Rouse Hill
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Female Disability Support Worker
to join our team in
Rouse Hill, NSW
. This casual ongoing role involves providing
sleepover support
to a participant requiring assistance with daily living, personal care, and social support.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, engaging, and enjoys building meaningful relationships through companionship and social interaction.

Location: Rouse Hill, NSW

to a participant requiring assistance with daily living, personal care, and social support.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, engaging, and enjoys building meaningful relationships through companionship and social interaction.
Casual ongoing position
Sleepover shifts Wednesday 7pm - 6am & Thursday 3pm-7am
Location: Rouse Hill, NSW
Female support worker preferred
Warm, patient, and engaging personality with the ability to build rapport
Enjoys providing companionship and social support




Previous experience supporting participants with
epilepsy
is highly desirable
Comfortable supporting with personal care tasks and daily living activities
Must be comfortable working around small dogs
Comprehensive training and support will be provided, including:
Administration of
Midazolam (PRN seizure medication)
Manual handling training
Hoist training (where required)
The successful Support Worker will assist with:
Meal preparation and setting up meals
Providing prompts and encouragement during mealtimes (the participant can feed independently but advantages from support with meal setup and encouragement)
Social support and companionship, including conversation, watching television, and engaging in preferred activities at home
Providing standby assistance with showering when required
Supporting with catheter care, including emptying the catheter bag as required
Monitoring wellbeing and providing reassurance and encouragement
You are a caring and reliable Support Worker who values person-centred care and enjoys making a positive difference in someone's daily life. You understand the importance of patience, respect, and building trust while supporting participants to maintain their independence at home.
