Experienced General Practice Receptionist

Park Grove Medical Centre is a modern, patient-focused general practice looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing team.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a busy reception while providing exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism.

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in General Practice.
Experience using Best Practice software.
Sound knowledge of Medicare billing, bulk billing and private billing.
Experience identifying, investigating and resolving Medicare claim rejections and billing errors.
Understanding of Medicare item numbers and eligibility requirements.




Excellent appointment scheduling and diary management skills.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative team.
