Precision Agriculture Technology Specialist
to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading precision agriculture technologies, helping growers improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability through innovative farming solutions.
About the Role
This is a diverse and rewarding position combining technical support, customer service, and sales. You will work directly with farmers, and agricultural businesses to install, support, and promote precision farming technologies across a wide range of farming operations and machinery platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and support precision agriculture hardware and software solutions across a range of agricultural machinery and implements.
Configure, calibrate, and support GPS guidance, autosteer, section control, implement steering, and machine automation systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, GPS correction, and performance issues across precision farming platforms.
Integrate displays, receivers, controllers, sensors, telematics systems, and machine control technologies across multiple machinery brands and technology platforms.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to rapidly resolve customer issues during critical farming operations.
Deliver customer training on equipment operation, software platforms, and precision farming best practices.
Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for technology adoption, operational efficiency, and productivity improvements.
Prepare quotations and recommend precision farming solutions tailored to individual farming enterprises.
Conduct product demonstrations, field days,



and customer events to showcase emerging technologies and solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, agronomists, machinery dealerships, and industry partners.
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and technology partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Maintain accurate service records, customer documentation, and inventory management processes.
Travel locally and nationally to support customers and assist with installations, training, and seasonal operations.
Ideal Candidate
A background in agriculture, farm machinery, agricultural technology, auto-electrical, diesel mechanical, or a related field.
Strong mechanical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues in agricultural equipment and technology systems.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Confidence working independently and managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
A proactive approach to sales, customer engagement, and business development.
Knowledge of RTK networks, GNSS correction services, ISOBUS, telematics, and machine control systems would be highly regarded.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electronic systems.
Strong computer literacy and confidence working with software and cloud-based platforms.
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally and nationally.
