Lead the delivery of exceptional clinical care within one of WMQ's Residential Aged Care homes. As the Clinical Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to the clinical team, ensuring evidence-based, person-centred care is delivered while maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies.
You will drive clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management, and workforce development, while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability. Working closely with the Residential Manager, you will support the operational sustainability of the home and step into the Acting Residential Manager role during periods of leave or absence.

What We're Looking For
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Extensive experience in senior clinical leadership roles within aged care or a related healthcare setting
Formal leadership and management qualifications or demonstrated experience leading high-performing clinical teams
Experience leading clinical governance, quality systems, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
Proven ability to drive best practice clinical care and mentor nursing teams toward excellence




Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes and relevant legislation
Experience leading successful ACQSC registration renewal and compliance activities
Sound financial and operational management skills, including budget oversight and workforce planning
Highly developed clinical assessment, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams, residents and families
Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations, quality improvement activities and clinical reporting
Strong technology skills, including MS Office and clinical documentation systems
Ability to work within and promote WMQ's Vision, Mission and Values
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in Gerontology, Aged Care, Clinical Leadership or a related specialty
Experience in AN-ACC funding optimisation and assessment processes
Previous experience acting in a Residential Manager capacity
Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams across multiple service areas
Experience developing and delivering clinical education and workforce capability programsCurrent Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy
