People & Culture Business Partner | HRIS Implementation & Strategic Projects
$140,000 - $160,000 + Super
If you're someone who loves taking ownership, leading meaningful projects and seeing the impact of your work across an organisation, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
We're partnering with a leading organisation to appoint a People & Culture Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in the future of the People & Culture function.
Whilst this is a genuine People & Culture Business Partner role, the primary focus for the first 12 months will be leading the implementation and integration of a new HRIS. You'll take ownership of one of the organisation's most significant People & Culture projects, partnering with leaders across the business to deliver a solution that enhances the employee experience, improves organisational capability and creates a strong foundation for the future.
Working closely with the National People & Culture Manager and alongside the People & Culture Advisor, you'll lead the project from planning through to implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.
Beyond the HRIS implementation, you'll continue to play a key role in delivering projects that strengthen organisational capability across the business. From learning and development initiatives and workforce capability through to remuneration reviews, workforce planning, engagement and employer branding, this role offers the opportunity to influence meaningful projects that have a lasting impact.
About the business
Our client is a highly successful Australian organisation employing approximately 650 people across Queensland and Victoria.
Operating within an industry that plays an important role in supporting Australia's growing housing needs, they've built a strong reputation for quality,
innovation and long-term thinking.
They've built an incredibly successful organisation whilst remaining refreshingly humble. You'll be joining a collaborative People & Culture team that genuinely enjoys working together, values new ideas and empowers people to take ownership. It's an environment where your contribution is recognised, your ideas are welcomed and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
About the role
Reporting directly to the National People & Culture Manager, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to drive projects that improve capability, strengthen systems and enhance the employee experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the implementation, integration and optimisation of a new HRIS.
Managing People & Culture projects from planning through to successful delivery.
Partnering with leaders to identify workforce capability needs and deliver practical learning and development initiatives.
Driving improvements to People & Culture systems, processes and governance.
Using HRIS data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Supporting workforce planning, remuneration reviews, engagement initiatives and employer branding projects.
Building trusted relationships across the business to influence positive change.
Providing People & Culture support across the employee lifecycle,
including coaching leaders and supporting employee relations when required.
About you
You'll enjoy taking ownership, building relationships and turning ideas into action.
You're energised by projects, naturally look for opportunities to improve the way things are done and enjoy working collaboratively with leaders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience as a People & Culture Business Partner, Senior People & Culture Advisor or similar role.
Experience leading People & Culture projects or organisation-wide initiatives.
Exposure to HRIS implementation, optimisation or systems projects will be highly regarded.
Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Excellent project management, communication and influencing capability.
A passion for learning, continuous improvement and building organisational capability.
Why you'll love this opportunity
This role offers far more than a traditional People & Culture Business Partner position.
You'll have the opportunity to lead a significant HRIS implementation, shape the future of the People & Culture function and continue driving projects that make a genuine difference across the organisation.
You'll be joining a business that values initiative, encourages fresh thinking and provides the autonomy to own your work, all while being supported by a highly regarded National People & Culture Manager and a collaborative leadership team.
If you're looking for an opportunity where you can combine strategic projects, learning and development, technology and business partnering in one role whilst also getting to work with an amazing team, we'd love to hear from you.
