We are seeking a reliable and organised Accounts Clerk to join our boutique law firm in Hurstville. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a supportive working environment, a convenient office location (minutes away from train station), flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for long-term career growth.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will support the day-to-day operations of the office by managing and overlooking the accounts and finances of the business, as well as handling also general administrative/office duties. This is a varied role suited to someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
Accounts administration (receivables + payables), including invoicing, receipting, and reconciliations
Data entry and maintaining accurate records
Managing correspondence, emails, and client enquiries - phone calls are also necessary
General office administration and reception duties
Assisting with filing and document management
Providing administrative support to our legal team
Other general office duties as required

What We’re Looking For





To be successful in this role, you will have:
1+ year experience in accounting is most key! Even better with administration background too!
If you have completed a degree or certification in Accounting, or currently undertaking - without sacrificing any working days
Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A professional and friendly manner, and can collaborate well with the team
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail - dealing with lots of sensitive figures everyday and require high accuracy
A commitment to a full-time, long-term position
The ability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period
Applicants who live in or near the Hurstville area is preffered to offer work-life travel balance.

Starting salary: $28.00 per hour + Superannuation
