Requirements
MC Driver's Licence (Mandatory)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Commercial Driver's Medical (or willing to obtain)
TLIF**** Apply a fatigue risk management certification (or willing to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of experience operating water carts in construction, mining, or civil works
Strong knowledge of dust suppression techniques and road maintenance practices
Ability to work independently and follow instructions with high attention to detail
Strong safety focus, excellent work ethic, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
Operate the MC water cart in compliance with site procedures, road rules, and strict safety standards
Apply water evenly and effectively to gravel roads and work areas for dust suppression under supervisor direction
Conduct daily pre-start inspections, routine maintenance checks, and promptly report any defects or issues
Inspect equipment closely for leaks, wear, and fluid levels




Monitor road and weather conditions to adjust water application as required
Maintain accurate records of water usage, operating hours, and daily tasks in logbooks or electronic systems
Assist in safe refilling operations, ensuring pumps, hoses, and fittings are used correctly
Uphold environmental responsibilities by avoiding overwatering, preventing water run-off, and minimizing waste
Comply with site safety policies, traffic management plans, and environmental controls
Work safely and collaboratively with other operators, supervisors, and site teams to maintain operational efficiency
