Job Description
Now is your chance to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly exciting SEO & AI Search Specialist role based at our enviable Darra Head Office. We are looking for an experienced SEO & AI Search Specialist to help grow our organic presence across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences. As search continues to evolve, this role will play a key part in ensuring Pillow Talk remains visible wherever our customers search – from Google Search and Organic shopping through to emerging AI-powered search experiences.
What You'll Be Doing...
Develop and execute SEO and AI search strategies that drive organic growth
Improve Pillow Talk's visibility across traditional and AI-powered search experiences
Optimise content, technical SEO, structured data and product feeds
Partner with agencies and internal teams to deliver best-practice search outcomes
Manage Google Merchant Centre and support organic Shopping performance
Analyse performance data and customer search behaviour to identify opportunities
Report on key SEO metrics and provide actionable recommendations
Stay ahead of search trends, algorithm changes and AI developments
A Bit About You...
Minimum 5 years' experience in SEO within ecommerce, digital or retail environments
Proven expertise across technical, content, on-page SEO and emerging AI search platforms




Strong understanding of structured data, website architecture, Google Merchant Centre and SEO best practice
Proficient in GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and related tools
Commercially minded, analytical and able to translate search insights into business outcomes
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and ecommerce platforms (BigCommerce or Shopify highly regarded)
Passionate about search innovation, AI and continuous learning

This role is based full-time at our Support Office in Darra, Brisbane with 2 days WFH. Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This is an onsite role and fully remote working arrangements are not available.
