About Tender Plus
At Tender Plus, we help organisations strategically pursue and win competitive business.
Our clients operate across almost every sector imaginable, from infrastructure, construction and engineering through to professional services, housing, transport, not-for-profit, defence and commercial development. No two weeks are ever the same.
We provide strategic advice, bid leadership, tender management, tender writing, review services and bid coaching. Increasingly, our role goes beyond coordinating submissions. We work alongside executive teams and subject matter experts to shape winning strategies, challenge thinking and help clients position themselves more effectively.
We are known for being kind, hardworking, commercially minded and deeply committed to quality. We care about our clients, we support each other, and we work hard to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced bid / tender professional who enjoys leading complex pursuits and partnering closely with clients, but who also doesn't mind being led by other team members, happy to support a winning bid in whatever guise is needed.
This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, highly proactive and energised by variety. You will be comfortable stepping into new industries, learning quickly and helping clients navigate the often messy and evolving reality of tendering. If you don't like change and you need certainty, this is not the job for you.
Our work is cooperative and relationship-driven. We spend time together in the office, work alongside clients in their workplaces when required, and actively engage with stakeholders throughout the bid process. As such,

this role is best suited to someone who readily adapts to recent people, enjoys working with them and values the energy that comes from face-to-face collaboration.
This is a role that involves a minimum of 3 days in our Sydney office and as requested by our clients can require up to 5 days per week in a client office. Interstate and New Zealand travel may be required. If you cannot fulfil or do not want to fulfil these requirements, please do not apply.
What You'll Bring
Essential Experience
3+ years' experience in a bid, tender, proposal or submission coordination role
Exceptional writing, editing and interviewing skills, with the ability to create compelling content from scratch
Strong project management and organisational capability
Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality
A proven ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
What Will Make You Successful
You are someone who:
Enjoys working across diverse industries and subject matter
Can confidently progress work even when not all information is available from the outset
Takes ownership, shows initiative and looks for solutions rather than waiting for direction
Is comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve throughout the tender period
Brings sound judgement and commercial thinking, not just process management skills

Has the confidence to provide strategic advice and constructively challenge clients where needed
Communicates proactively and follows through on commitments
Values high standards and takes pride in producing quality work
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and contributing to a positive culture
A tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients throughout the pursuit process as a trusted adviser and coach
Manage and coordinate tenders and proposals through to submission
Facilitate bid planning, strategy and win theme discussions with clients and bid teams
Develop persuasive, client-focused response content
Interview stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover insights and differentiators
Provide strategic advice to help clients strengthen their positioning and approach
Coordinate contributors and reviewers to ensure compliance, quality and timely delivery
Drive proactive communication across bid teams and client stakeholders
Coordinate graphic design inputs and / or design graphics and collateral (not a required skill).
Why Join Tender Plus?
Work on some of Australia's most significant and interesting pursuits
Experience an extraordinary diversity of industries, projects and clients
Develop your consulting, coaching and strategic advisory skills, not just your bid management capability
Work closely with clients and decision-makers across a wide range of sectors
Enjoy a collaborative working environment with regular in-person engagement with both colleagues and clients
