Disability Support Worker (Casual Sleepover Shift)
Location:
Mareeba, QLD
(Travel allowance available for the right candidate travelling from Cairns.)

supporting participants throughout
Cairns and the Tablelands

As we continue to grow, we're looking for
compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers
who are passionate about making a genuine difference in people's lives.
Unlike larger providers, we pride ourselves on knowing our staff personally. You'll receive ongoing support from Registered Nurses, have direct access to management, and become part of a close-knit team that values communication, professionalism and high-quality care.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and within the community. Every participant is different, so
no two days are the same
.
Your duties may include:
Personal care and assistance with daily living
Community access and social outings
Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
Transport to appointments and activities
Medication assistance (where appropriate)
Manual handling and mobility assistance
Supporting participants to achieve their goals
Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Compassionate and genuinely enjoys supporting others
Reliable and punctual
A strong communicator
Skilled in their presentation and attitude
Able to work independently and use initiative
Flexible with availability, including mornings,



evenings and weekends
Willing to travel throughout
Cairns and the Tablelands
when required
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is highly regarded:
Disability Support
Aged Care
Community Care
Nursing or Allied Health
Mental Health Support
High-intensity supports
(desirable but not essential)
A
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
✔ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check
(or willingness to obtain)
✔ Queensland Blue Card
(or willingness to obtain)
✔ National Police Check
✔ Current Australian Driver Licence
✔ Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
✔ Valid Australian working rights
